Holiday Gift Guide!

I kept seeing gift guides for your friends, your husband, your kids, etc but wasn’t seeing anything for yourself. So in the name of self care being all the rage, I rounded up all of my favorite finds over the last year that I think everyone could benefit from! While all these gifts can be for yourself, if you’re feeling generous you can go ahead and get them for a friend too!

Bedside:

  1. The Glow Light. If you struggle to wake up from an alarm when its still dark out, but love a good morning routine, this lights for you. The light can be programmed with an app on your phone so you can wake up from natural light and set the start time for the light to gradually glow, how long you want it to glow, how bright, and how long you want it to fade off. I have two times set for both morning wakeup and nighttime turn down!

  2. Catch 3 Essentials Charging Dock. I keep mine on my nightstand to charge my phone or air pods, and use the dish side for my jewelry + glasses. They have tons of sizes + finishes too!

  3. Nodpod. I am sure you’ve heard of a weighted blanket, but have you heard of a weighted sleep mask? This was a fairly recent purchase for me, and I am obsessed.

BATHROOM:

4. Whale Scrub. Get it? Nail Scrub! I’ve had the kirkland whale scrub for a few years, not only does it keep the cuticles and nails looking fresh between manicures, it also looks adorable on top of a bar of soap!

5. Bath Mat. This 2x5 bath mat is perfect for in front of a double vanity, bathtub, or large shower. No more cold feet or wet floors here!

6. Makeup Towel. Stop leaving stains on your white face towels, and stop using the same face towel for an entire week! You’re just rubbing your face today with yesterdays bacteria, no no. They also have a ton of colors for bath towels, bathrobes, tissue box covers and then some with the option to custom monograms!

KITCHEn:

7. Candle Warmer. I found this through an instagram add, and try as I might I sometimes can’t resist them! The light burns the candle slower than lighting so it last longer and has the most romantic warm amber glow with the fluted glass shade. * chefs kiss *

8. Half Baked Harvest Cook Book. If you don’t know about half baked harvest, now you do, you’re welcome! As someone who always says I design kitchens for other people to cook, I can’t say that I have personally cooked her recipes but I do sent them to my sister so she can cook something for me… they’ve always been to die for.

9. Tea Kettle. I am an avid tea drinker, maybe it’s the english in me… (currently loving trader joes blood orange, but green tea with pomegranate is my go-to). It’s clean, it’s quick, and it’s cute, need I say more?

Living room:

10. Monopoly. The most chic monopoly with a storage drawer built-in to the board! Who doesn’t love a game night? This site also has a ton of other super chic classic childhood games.

11. Coasters. Perfect place to put your tea cup to keep your coffee table pristine!

12. Slipper Socks. If you’re like me and have a no shoes in the house rule, then grab a few of these washable slipper socks for your guests to slip on when they come to visit. Okay this may be more to entice guests not to wear shoes, but its a gift to you so you don’t have to vacuum the dirt carried from outside every time you have a visitor!

Dining Room:

13. Gold Chargers. Have you heard the trend romanticize your life? Well chargers are the perfect way to dress up and replace your every day placemats, and the gold makes the table setting that much more chic!

14. Candle Sconces. I put these in my dining room when I found out that adding hardwired sconces would involve patches all over my walls and ceilings. I didn’t want to see the cord for a plug in sconce so I went without decorative lighting for a bit. The sconces were a great solution to my problem and add a nice element that took all of 2 minutes to hang with 1 hammer and 2 nails.

15. Fluted Cups. Romanticize your tables-cape with glasses that make even water look chic! I love the variety of these cups, keeps things interesting.
